Just took delivery on this Vox Cambridge Reverb. Had a couple hours w/ it this afternoon ... sounds nice and clean. Reverb and Tremelo are perfect.
I`m liking it ......
A few pics .....

Very nice...congratulations. I've tried some of the old Vox amps and the trem just pulses...exactly like it should.

Thanks Paul, this amp just kinda jumped out in front of me and I couldn`t pass it up and now, and I realize I`ve only been playing thru it for a few hours, I`m sooooo glad I grabbed it.
BUT .......... I would much rather have had the amp you had ... that is a classic looking rig.
I `ve been having a bit of a problem getting my Berk II rig delivered. The cab and trolley are in transit via DHL ... I have that confirmed . I now have to worry about what the guy is doing w/ the head. He says it had a bit of a hum and wanted take it to his tech so I would be completly satisfied when I got it. He`s an odd duck so I`m hoping for the best. I gotta admit I AM a bit leery about the entire transaction but trying to think positive.

Thanks for that link Paul. I`ve had that in a folder here for quite a while. Lots of good information in there.

DHL?
You're in a world of trouble now...
Interestingly, when my "new" Royal Guardsman arrived here in SF--shipped via DHL, their tracking info said that it was two boxes; both had arrived that same day. Later that afternoon, the head rolled into my office.
One week later, the cab and trolley had not arrived. Repeated phone calls to the hub went
unanswered !
I finagled the DHL hub address from a kind phone lady--on my 15th call. Grabbed a friend and a truck and drove down to the hub. The front office was filled with disgruntled customers. We ordered a pizza, had it delivered, and ate it while we waited...finally it was our turn. From the front of the line, I could see through a door to the warehouse, that periodically opened, my amp. Still, it took the clerk (who really couldn't give a s**t) about 20 minutes to "locate" the box. I asked him why it hadn't been loaded onto a truck in all that time. He shrugged and tossed me a clipboard to sign. I signed and got out of Dodge.
We were there for over an hour. The entire time the phone rang off the hook...

I just got off the phone w/DHL and they say the trcking is correct and will be here on Tuesday....we`ll see. I don`t care if it`s late as long as there`s no damage.
