Nice! You do the 1/2 toaster on all of them. I love the conversion you did on the Blueburst I purchased from you. Nice picture. Is the one on the far left Midnight Blue. It's hard for me to see.

Actually Brian-
The one on the left is a re-neck-thru'd 73.
It was a carcass that I had bought for parts; when I took it
out and found checkers, the plan changed...
Used the body wings and board, and made a new neck-thru.
I had it shot in a dark blue-burst with aging toner in
the clear coat.
It came out great. It's one of my faves....

From left to right, their years are:
'73(MF****),'73(MF****),'87(I0****),'69(IB****),'72(LL****)

Hey, I have an IB, and had a LL too...

Is that the original HS in the 69 John? The FG on that looks much more like a 67 burst, with a lighter center. My Dec 68 is darker, very similar to your 72...

When Dale shot the 69, we had discussed the many different Fireglos.
I had wanted a more early mid 60s look. Some 64's and most 65's I've had
were lighter in the middle, but went to a dark red w/ a brownish tinge....
This came pretty close. The 68's and 69's I've had seemed to have a more
maroonish/eggplant look to them...
Maybe the next basket case I get will get the later.....
I'm not sure if the horseshoe that came with the bass did when it left
the factory; the coil had been messed with. I think that it originaly came with
an "understring" pick up. But what the hey, ALL my basses get shod!
