Hi Sergio!
I recently scored a short-pole toaster to put in my '69 4001S, but it doesn't have any leads. What type of wire is recommended? I would like it to look as original as possible.
Thanks!
Lead wire recommendation?

Re: Lead wire recommendation?
Kevin, what does the short pole toaster you already have use on it? The gray shielded wire? If so, get an old gray RCA-plugged audio cable (everybody who has been around stereo equipment has them!) and cut an appropriate length to use.
Re: Lead wire recommendation?
it depends on the year you are heading for, some of my mid 60's guitar don't have the thick rca style lead on the neck pickup at all, it is similar cable but only about 2/3 thick. bargain bin of your local thrift store is you best friend for both of them.

Here's the toaster from my '71.
Didn't know where to get the wire though.
