Just got my tickets for the midnight show tonight. I had to be among the first people to see it. Any other Bat Fans out there in RicLand ?

Begins was a great movie, and I'm looking forward to the Dark Knight. I'm not a fan of most superhero movies, but since I was a kid I've always liked Batman. Bale is an exceptional Bruce Wayne.

Batman has always been my favorite of the classic comic superheroes. I'll be seeing it as soon as I can. I can't wait to see the new spin on the joker and some of the other surprises that they have in store for the audience in the new one.

Batman is definitely my favorite "super-hero" character. He's dark, how they should be. Not like the namby-pamby Fantastic Four movies and the like. Begins was my favorite, probably like most of you, since the ones Tim Burton directed, and I'm looking forward to this new one. I'm not much for the opening night crowds, but I definitely plan on seeing it.

I want to give it an A, but right now, it feels like a B+. The ending got a little hard for me to follow, especially at 2:45 am. Bale's and Ledger's performances were very powerful, and the movie was very sad, very dark. I felt like I was being punched in the stomach throughout the film. Danger was everywhere in this story.

I look forward to seeing it myself, but I don't know when I'll get a chance.... There are no movie theaters in Grand Marais, and the nearest one is about 100 miles away!

Don't take your children - it is very disturbing and dark.

Funny you should say that, Nate.... Our garage, which we have been waiting for all summer, finally went up two days ago....
Actually most of the "fun" in Grand Marais is outdoors related: Fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking.... And in the winter there is both cross-country and downhill skiing and snowmobiling. I love living here in the summer (when it comes, I'm still waiting for it this year!), but the winters can get very, very long.

I'll wait until it hits video. 152 minutes is way too long for me to sit and watch a movie. At home, I can split it up into a few parts. Short attention span and all.
