Bit late today but here's this week's.

This act's chart career in US ran from 59 to 64 and in UK from60 till end of 70's actually.

This song is probably associated with Gene Pitney again, but this act did it first.

I'm sure this is going to be one of those "Oh, of course!!" ones... can't get it at the moment though.
The clues are puzzling to me as well... an unusual pattern.
Nice version, anyway, in it's own period style.

I was surprised at how many got this one even if you searched for answer, it was The Drifters.
