Thanks for the technical direction Erik.
Haven't been able to find out who wrote this tune. The only place I've heard it is in The Last Waltz, performed by The Band and Emmylou Harris. It sounds like an older folk tune. Is it related to the poem about a young Acadian girl during the removal of the Acadians? Anybody know?
Anyway, I'm fairly new to recording and this was one of my first attempts. It was recorded about a year ago on my old Mac using Logic. It's demo quality but it was the first time I recorded my 360/6 so it's a special recording to me. The tune also has a bouzouki (actually a custom made octave mandolin that is a bouzouki hybrid), an acoustic, and a mandolin. A good project to cut my teeth anyway. I learned a lot from it.
