New to this forum, and gettin a new Ric

First off I'd like to say hi to everyone, this is my first post on this site, and Im proud to be a member, my name is Paul.
I've been playing guitar since I was 15 (1966). At that time the big players on the block were Gretsch and Rickenbacker, but I had a Silvertone. My first really nice guitar was a 1967 Mosrite Celebrity, when I got married my wife bought me a 1968 Ric 375 in MG, but in 1976 there was a recession and I had to sell them, and go to Saudi Arabia for work. I've been crying since then about the loss of those guitars, every time I played I thought of those two guitars. Since then I have put together a nice collection of guitars which includes a Gretsch Tennessee Rose,G&L 2HB, G&L Bluesboy, Fender American Standard Strat, Fender American Standard Tele, Ric 620 six string in JG, two Tacoma's, and three yrs ago I found a mint 1968 Mosrite Celebrity exactally like the one I had to sell, needless to say I scooped it up. But I still wished I could get that Ric 375 back.
Last night I went to my brother's house to see his new Ludwig Vista-lites as they had just arrived. After the demonstration, him going through every drum roll he knows about ten time each, he fired up his computer and showed me a Ric 375 in MG he found, and asked me how I liked it. I told him it was a BEAUTIFUL guitar and priced right, it even included a ric-o-sound kit. Before I knew what was going on he hit the by it now button, and told me happy early birthday!!!! WOW I could'nt even sleep last nite, the 375 was made in 2002, and is in perfect condition, I guess you could call it a re-issue, but my question is except for the checker-board binding how much like my original 1968, 375 is this guitar. I read that the toaster out-put in 1968 were 3.80, 3.85, and 12.50, I guess what Im asking is, is this guitar pretty close to my original 375?
