Any chance of a new Rick model anytime soon?

Hey obviously I'm new here, I just recently got Rickenbackers and they are just about the best guitars that have ever existed! Jerry Juden (shamustwins) recommended that I join the forum haha...That aside are there any known new models or reissues planned anytime soon?

Welcome David, probably not as they are catching up on their backlog, but who knows after that.

Thanks Mike, how much are Paul's basic rates anybody? Maybe I could just have him make my own model
That would be quite a hefty chunk out of my savings though.

Welcome David. I am sure Paul can make you a great guitar, but rest assured, it will be nothing like a Rickenbacker. Only
RIC can make Rickenbackers.

There are rumors of a new 600-series line to update the 650s.
In the meantime, I'm looking forward to the 2009 Color of the Year.

You can PM Paul on the forums with any questions you might have about him making you a flat top acoustic Ric. They are the only models he is authorized to make, unless I am mistaken. But Paul will answer all your questions, someday I will place my order.... someday.
