There's this Italian cafe that Diane and I frequent for coffee and real Italian food.
They have recently gotten in several beers from micro brewerys added to their menu. The first one I saw at the top of the list was Allgaier, then I did a double take and it was Allgauer.
Allgauer Brauhaus Bayrisch Hell. What a name!!
Anyway, because of the name, thinking of John A, I decided to give it a try.
I has this a few weeks ago but waited to post this because John was on vacation, then the confluence came and I got caught up in other stuff. Graham also had one when he was here!!
It had a really good taste, but for as big of a bottle of beer that it is, it was a little shy on the "buzz" factor.

Anyway, cheers to my buddy John and to all my friends on the forum!

Joey, thanks ever so much for thinking of me. Yes, that is my "other" job, running a microbrewery under the German spelling of my last name. Sure glad you enjoyed it, and it sounds like Graham did too. Prosit!!
