First version Light Show pickups

I've got a first version Ricky Light Show with several problems. The problem I'm working on now is the pickups. They both have broken coils and I'm going to rewind them but I don't know what resistance to wind them too. Does anyone know the DC resistance for these pickups?

I'm working on it ... I keep getting megohms, so I'm not doing it right, yet.

Are you disconnecting them entirely from the circuit? The .0047mfd cap might be bungling your readings up.

yeah that is the 0.0047 cap interference. they are probably same 14k ...

that is crazy. observe in the parts bin of rhoads many other items priced like this. i believe that these will sit there till the end of our times...

Well, I do think they are expensive, but I don't know about overpriced. Those pickups are hard to find, just try and find them somewhere else..!?
For somebody with an incomplete Lightshow, $1000 for a pair of authentic pickups is a steal- you're talking about a guitar that is worth $20,000 complete, so it's all relative.
Seen how much a pair of authentic PAF humbuckers go for these days? A lot more than $500, for sure. And they are way easier to find than transitional high gains. I don't think Rhoads is trying hard to move their parts inventory, given the pricing, but we are talking primo parts here.
