I should probably know this by now, but if I did, I've forgotten...I still get the 1993, 97,98s, et cetera mixed up

So, who can tell me, what was the last year for the

A.) 360 WB

B.) 360 V64/6?

IIRC, RIC stopped taking orders for 360WB's in November of 1995?

The last v64's seem to have rolled off the line in 2000.

My two are '82 and '88, from the heart of WB production. Jan '97 seems like yesterday, not ancient history like so much of Rick's desirable vintage stuff...

Your Ruby 6 string is from `82, yes? Is the `88 the Ruby 12?

My AZ is from Nov `84(ooh, it just squeaks into the vintage category by RRF designation ), the MG is from Jun `91, and the TURQ is from Jan `97. I was surprised about that as well.

The TURQ really sounds great whether clean or overdriven. I've used it exclusively for six string workat the last two rehearsals, leaving my Silverjet at home. It's equipped with the 12K toasters. The Silver Jet is probably a bit more "juicy" as you've put it, with its Dynasonics, but the 12K toasters aren't that far off. The guitar sounds and plays great...then again, this should be no surprise, as it's a Rickenbacker.

Yeah, I thought you were aware of that Paul A. That's why it's such a cool piece. Probably was on order before they discontinued WB's, and finally got finished in 97.

I am incredibly clueless when it comes to certain Rickologia. I just thought it was a really cool, flashy color for a WB, and a most pristine example, one I handle with care when playing.

There was a period in the 90s where I was just completely hooked on my Gretsches, and my sole Rickenbacker was my 381/12. I didn't pay attention to Ricks for a long time, and I'm still not as studied a member as a majority of the folks on this forum. I would dust off my 381/12 for recording, and the occasional odd gig, but that's about it. I'd even made the mistake of selling my AZ WB, though I was fortunate enough to later get that one back.
