Alright, so I just won this on Ebay (hope I didn't overpay...!), it looks like there is a little adjustment unde the bridge but not tons.....but it's main obvious issue is that it has humbuckers installed:

has anybody gotten a Ric before that had HB's bodged into it, and did Toasters cover it up?
Cheers,

The HB footprint is larger than a toaster footprint.

Damn, so what would I do? Block it or something?

Hard to say until you get the guitar in your hands; the HB spacers might have darkened the CV underneath them. Let me know when you get the guitar; I'll cruise by with an extra pickup that I have that we can use to gauge the difference, then you can decide what to do from there. Yours is not the first Rick 360 that this has been done to ( I remember seeing an older MG 360 with uncovered HBs hanging in the shop where I bought my first Rick), and IIRC there are some posted photos of repairs to this mod somewhere around the forum. One of the guys can point you towards a working solution so you can play it with toasters if you want, until you have the $ to have it repaired/restored to original condition if you go that route. I think it would be cool if it could somehow be blocked, with maybe some sort of thin, natural finish maplewood covers to cover the HB footprint until such time as you had the guitar restored, if you chose to go that route.

Here's one that I did a couple of years ago.

It's a rotta work, but roughly doubled the investment the guitar in this case, because it was a rare OS 365.
Seems like this is the third time this very topic has come up in a week...could this all be about the same instrument?

Thanks for the pics Paul!
Man, I guess I had no idea the size that a humbucker takes up compared to a toaster. I think I got confused with a thread awhile back about replacing Gibson
Mini Humbuckers in a Ric, which would make a lot more sense.
Sure wish I'd seen that photo spread before I committed to buying. It sure seems like a lot of work, and there's no way to even "kinda" put Toasters on there for the time being....so I'd be stuck with a Humbucking Rick with no jangle...hmm...
Cheers,

PS...at AZ Glo is beautiful Paul, I remember when you did Jdog's 366 in the same shade and it looks amazing.
