Chris Squires customized Fender Telecaster bass.

He used it quite a bit in the early days, and is in some of the "You Tube" videos from the era. It was reported stolen along time ago.....FYI.

Agreed! Just like the '70 4001MG, this is historically significant to say the least. Amazing that it has surfaced!

I mentioned to someone when the 4001 21fretter turned up that it wouldnt surprise me at all if the Tele Bass "mysteriously" appeared in the near future.

I dunno. A few of us tried to yell as loud as we could, but I dont think we got through to the right people.

I really hope he did.,,,,but then again, we really dont know if this Tele was the real thing...
