Sunday Washington Post's Business section (page F2) had a little blurb -

""They either are really contrary or very classy."

-- Mitch Easter, guitarist with the 1980s group Let's Active, on Rickenbacker International, maker of the first electric guitar and later models popularized by the Beatles. The debt-free, family-owned company still makes everything in house at one small factory in Santa Ana, Calif., while rivals Fender and Gibson have moved most of their production to Mexico or Asia to cut costs."

And I am so glad they do..... All Americian made, with the quality to match!

and a picture to boot!

Admiration and applause abounding for the man...aside from his cool name, Mr. Easter has production talent!
"Murmur" set the stage for a new brand of southern rock...who could disagree?

Mr. Thor,
Upon first glance one might believe it to be an inverted photo. However, upon closer look at the other guitars to the left, you must be correct. Applause to your elderly eyes brother!

Yes, indeedy. When I visited RIC back in late July, there was a passel of leftys in evidence...Ben made an offhand reference to "cleaning up lefty backorders". Whether that referred to just this batch, or global intentons, I'm not sure. I suspect the former, though.
