On mornings like this, rolling into work just as the sun burst over the North Sea illuminating the partial, deep-black overcast and painting the clear bits with every range of colours from greens to orange to blue to yellows, it's so grim it's beautiful.

I got this one slightly inadvertently in January, a result of making what I thought was a 'low offer'.

In the past, I've had another 480 and various other solidbodied Ricks. They're really underappreciated by the wider guitar community IMO.

Note the missing screws on the bridge!
