How many Canadians hanging out here anyway?

Ok, time to chime in! How many Canadian forum members out there, and what region are you from?

Lurkers, posters, permanent and temporary ex-pats all welcome to chime in (The maple leaf doesn't leave you, even if you've left!).
Your closest major city or your province is fine for those who are shy or cautious.

I was very fortunate to meet several of you at the Canadian confluence in Toronto in 2006, but there seem to be a lot more of us out there looking in. Perhaps we could use this threads info to help plan another Canadian confluence or two, regional or a National event, if there is enough interest.

I feel I've spent enough time in Canada to be considered 'honorary', Dean!

Note I said 'honorary'.......... not 'honorable'!!!

We've got you addicted to Keith's Howard, that qualifies you for the Maple Leaf on the backpack! Also being a member of ICBM should qualify you as well, don't you think?

Reporting in from the Okanagan Captain :D Member of ICBM currently, Aitch is so picky he'll probably replace me with two younger and less expensive models (female of course).

I am not sure Dean. I thinks he wants to do the Robert Palmer thing. Here's what he said a while back in the Robert Palmer thread in my section. "I'll never get the video of "Addicted To Love" out of my head"

I rest my case...............

You and I both know that the chances of anything like that happening are virtually zilch, Brian. And if it did happen you'd have to find a new collaborator because I would have dropped dead from heart failure!!!!

Another Canadian here. From Moncton, NB. though I think Montreal is my favorite Canadian city (to visit, I couldn't live there I don't think).

I am located in Toronto and have had the good fortune to meet several Canadian forumites.

Howard, I've often felt that Aussies were very similar to Canadians, so it's not much of a stretch for you to become an Honourary Canuck.

I'm also in the Toronto area.
I've always felt that the Canada-US relationship is in some ways similar to the New Zealand-Australia relationship. Never confuse a Canuck for a Yank or a Kiwi for an Aussie (at least in my experience). But as long as they're all Rickenbacker fans, who cares! :)

Add one more. I am from Fredericton, N.B. and it is nice to see a place where Canadians can gather. I hope we can build up a long list of Canadian Rickenbacker lovers here.

I'm in Edmonton. My favorite Canadian city is Victoria though - I spent my summers there growing up visiting my grandparents and my Mom's side of the family.

I originally hail from the Niagara area but have been a Steeltown guy calling Hamilton my home since the early 90s.

BTW, I agree that Canadians and Aussies have a lot in common.

Absolutely, Greg, Steve and Bill! For some reason I feel that I have a genuine affinity with the Canadians. Even the rednecks in the Okanagan!!
