Mia: I love the silver.

This is me on the left, from 1979.
This bass was later stolen
Oh I can remember the sound I got out of that bass
I envy you, Mia

Mia: Based on the photos you have sent, your 1975 4001 appears to be a silver finish. Am I correct? Is it silver?
I am asking for clarification as the best available information that I have is that this finish was used during the 1980s. A look at our Register would generally confirm this.
If your instrument is silver and an orginal finish, which it surely appears to be, then this is valuable information about the timeline of this colour.

Its not silver. Its white/cream.

Thanks, white fits better with the history of Rickenbacker finishes. Time for me to get new glasses.
