Thanks, everyone. It's a privilege.
While I love all of the various Rickenbacker models, the reissues have always been the most interesting to me. They're the reason I discovered the forum sometime in 1999 or 2000 before the C Series came out (yes, I was a lurker for six years!). Back then there was an interesting little 'cottage industry' providing parts for those who wanted to modify V-series Rickenbackers, especially the 325s. Unfortunately, some of the people with the most impressive knowledge and conversions have now disappeared from the forum.
I thank Rickenbacker, the C-Series team of experts, and John Hall for really putting a lot of thought, time, energy, and capital into getting everything right! It's a rare thing when forums aren't full of reissue accuracy gripes, which are now pretty near extinct on the RRF.
With your help, I hope I can do this topic justice and maybe freshen things up a little.
And DON'T ASK ME WHAT C STANDS FOR!!!! I don't know either!!!
