Congrats, Gareth. A true case of being in the right place at the right time. I ought to start collecting 70's neck higains (8k variety) - best sounding neck pup RIC made. IMHO YMMV FWIW AIAA!

Ah, Annette. My first love. When she made her record "Tall Paul," I just knew it was true love. I was 10 years old. But it wouldn't last. It couldn't last. It was doomed from the start. She was Mouseketeer royalty, and I was just a poor kid in Buffalo. She found Frankie Avalon and beach movies, and I found, well, Sharon, Christine, Kathy, Lindley, Gail, Marge, Leslie, Terry, and Dorothy.
And I'm not really "tall," anyway.

You should write a song about all of them.

One quick second away from Annette's "ears".
How hard is it to install one of the toaster-tops in a 4003? Just wondering.

You unsolder the coax at the selector switch end, remove two screws holding the higain on, screw in the toaster, then solder the coax to the same place you removed the higain wire. Tough conversion!

* Temporarily unavailable
(Not that It really matters. I wanted to order one as a friend is going for a vacation to the States on saterday and has an adress over there. But the Rickenbacker site not only wants an American adress to send to, but also an Amerikcan adress to pay from. It would have been a nice addition for my -still on order- 4003 BBR).
