In '67, my neighbor's oldest son returned from the navy,he'd been stationed at Subic,where he bought a P bass copy and crude Showman copy.Both had Fender labels on them;the bass was a near perfect copy but the amp wasn't even close.He was comvinced that it was an export version but it wasn't.
