man, that is great news.

It's also incredibly rare. I had a hunch that the guitar would turn up, maybe years later or something, but it's really rare that it was handed back to him.

Wow, What a huge relief!!

I can honestly say that I was 100% sure that it would never see the light of day again. Thankfully someone had a conscience - or, if I was cynical, someone realised they couldn't hold onto it without being discovered.

I am so pleased for Peter. A very happy end to this story.

Does anyone know if Robyn Hitchcock ever got his Tele back? It is not so distinctive, so probably he was not so lucky as Peter.
