Welcome Gary! Good to see another Sydney-sider amongst the ranks, and a Southpaw to boot!:D

Rowan from the Guitar shop in Paddington in brisbane has a great reputation, and also Tym From Tym's Guitars in Fortitude Valley Brisbane is known as one of best around. Looking at his blog he does a lot of very intricate repair work.

I've used Tommy Blank in Williamstown to repair some old 60's US guitars I have recently. A Kay, a Harmony and a (ummm) Truetone I think it calls itself. He's done a good job. Luckily all my rics are in good shape but when/if they do need a set up I'll give him a go.

He also custom builds amps and an AC15 clone he had in his workshop sounded great.
