I just had to try this cover, one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite albums. You learn a lot when you try to match the production of a good old chestnut. I'm no Bowie...but it sure is fun pretending.

Very cool Mark............I love you stuff. The vocals were very strong, in fact as usual you did a great job overall.

Wow, haven't heard that one in a long time. Love your singing, as always, but I gotta go find the original so I can A-B them for production. I admire your bravery.

Nice job, Mark! I like that your voice still sounds like your own, which makes this a great tribute, rather than an impersonation. Given that, I did notice that you really captured Bowie's phrasing nicely on the 2nd verse. I love the big drum sound you used, too. Gives it a nice contemporary feel - brings it into the 21st century. The only drawback from me was the piano sound. It was very dry & sample sounding. I would have liked to hear a little room ambience on it to give it a little depth, like it could have been in the same room as the drums, but closer than the drums to the listener.
Overall stellar, my friend!
