Now the question is: will Rickenbacker license their body shapes to them for the plastic controller?

God I hope so. Shoot, I'd buy one! Only in 12string though.

As much as I don't like the prospect of the game, it seems like a good opportunity for RIC.

Sure that wouldn't "A Hard Day's Night"? Even "Norwegian Wood" . . . or "Please Please Me" . . . and if it was yellow, well, nevermind.

Rock Band 2, not Guitar Hero.
Seriously folks, we've known about this for quite a long time. But that's all I can say; it's my understanding that Harmonix may release further details as early as today. Not sure if this is "today's big annoucement" or not:

Along the same lines, the add in my new issue of Nintendo Power (yes, I read Nintendo power and play the Wii...) for one of those games (maybe it is Rock Band 2) has a Rickenbacker 4003 bass outline (looks like a white chalk outline they use in police work for bodies) being held by one of the kids. That's the only thing I remember from the issue.
