Ric chick in southern France?

My husband was recently away in southern France and Germany on business, and has finally taken the time to sort through his many pictures.... He spotted this poster in Montpelier, France advertising a gig at a local nightclub. Does anyone know who the girl with the Rickenbacker is, or is she just a model posing with a cool attention-getting guitar?

I'm guessing she's a "model" or it's a mock up. The image is from a compilation CD.

I haven't got a clue what it says or what they sound like, but somehow I guess swampy!

HAHAHAHA!!!
Some of those band names sound like they came right from one of those online band name generators. I like "Cellophane Suckers."

Hmm, jetglo and black lingerie. There's a way to please your man.

Call him at the office and tell him what you're wearing, and that you made a cake. Gets me every time.

Say now that's easy, as it doesn't even have to be the truth

It's harder when we both work out of the same home office, LOL.... It's just that he doesn't share my love of music and all things Rickenbacker (although he bought 'em all for me, so that does say something good about him, LOL!) Maybe I said too much!

No really, everything's all right, just been a rough couple of weeks, and I'm spoiled rotten and sometimes take my blessings for granted when I get too deeply involved in my own projects....
Just for fun thought I'd check out some of those band links.... Here are a couple that I found on a rabbit trail from the link to Jackie and the Cedrics:

Nice to stumble on some Rickenbackers!

Count yourself lucky, I recently broke it off with a girl because we were too similar. It was truly strange.
Similar interests are nice, but too much is just too much!
Rough weeks suck, but rough weeks let you appreciate the great ones!

My guy's an appreciator, although he doesn't know one band from another he knows what sounds good and he tells me I'm great.

I get away with murder when it comes to new music toys.
Mel, your guy sounds like my Dad. He couldn't tell me about it in so many words, but he wanted me to be happy. He was a keeper too
Nick, I know what you mean. It's the magnetic principle of love at work...

Interesting. Back when I was in the market for a new sweetie, I couldn't find one "just like me" at all. Matter of fact, all the girls I knew were either way different than me, or uninteresting.
My squeeze couldn't tell you a Rickenbacker from a Gretsch, and really couldn't care much less. But you know, she sure does treat me nice.

And after almost 30 years, she still likes me. I'll keep her.

Thanks, Kira...you're exactly right!
It's kind of funny, I have to laugh at myself. I've been wrestling with my predicament for many days, but just venting and reading my posts again gives me a fresh perspective as I realize again how blessed I really am. I'm such a brat! And my husband drives me crazy and makes me mad, but I still love him....

Just had to say that!

Jimk, +1 Irene has been putting up with me for 30+ years and that ain't an easy thing to do. She's a keeper too!
Melibee, you need those little trials to remember why it is you chose Marc, and why you keep him.

Thanks again.... There really is no doubt about the fact that I want to keep Marc--it's just that he's not always so sure he wants to keep
me....
