Similar reaction when Search & Destroy played during the gunfight in The Life Aquatic.

Come to think of it, Wes Anderson films have great soundtracks all the way through. I loved all the covers of Bowie songs in The Life Aquatic, and then Mark Mothersbaugh does the score so you always get some Devo or other weirdness in there.

There's a quirky Chevy Chase movie called "Modern Problems", the Tubes have a song in there that is very cool.

Just about any song from this movie will get my vote. But this is the one that comes to mind first:
