Why does Walnut amber with age, and Autumnglo doesn't?

This one got me thinking. Walnut and Autumnglo were the same shade, the only difference was that AG was matte and WAL was glossy. Looking at many pics it seems to me that Walnuts amber with age, and AG's don't. Is it the clearcoat yellowing? I like Walnut and was wondering if Autumnglo can be converted to Walnut with tinted lacquer.

It's the clearcoat that ambers. There must be a different formulation in the matte finish which doesn't amber.

That would be ATG, as AG denoted the AzuregGlo blue.

They both yellow the same but the matte diffuses light differently so you don't notice it as much.
