thanks for that,tony! sounds like chris was using a ring modulator,something i never heard him do before....

I believe that is the Eventide harmonizer he was using around that time. Sounds nasty in that clip, but hey, you gotta experiment! He seemed to use it as a kind of extreme chorus effect most of the time on recordings.
