GarageBand Remix Challenge

Our own dear Joepee gave me this idea: wouldn't it be cool to see what we could do with each others' mixes?
I'll offer up my own two-and-a-half-minute cavern-style stomper for dissection, sampling, re-arranging, run it backwards, whatever. Add some new parts, make up some new vocals or just play with the mix. Just be sure to let us hear anything interesting that you come up with. That's the deal.
Here's a link to the GarageBand ( .band ) file of the karaoke version of "No Good At Goodbyes".
It's a 273 MB zip file you'll be downloading from megaupload.
You know the drill: Click, wait, click, wait ...
No Good At Goodbyes
If I get any takers I'll add some more links

I dunno, Mark. Logic can open GB files. But that's mac too. Isn't there some way these droids can talk to each other? Maybe someone will tell us how to share. I suppose I could convert the individual tracks to WAV files and let you import them one by one, but that's yucch. You need the other info from the file too.

Kira, that´s a great idea. Unfortunately I have been very busy at work lately, but as soon as I get some days off (probably around christmas) I will try to add something to your mix. And I will also offer something that I have recorded for download and for remixing.

Hmmm- I thought about that, but as you say, it's all the other track info etc that's missing. Pity.
We have some old copies of MicroLogic for PC here at work, and I'm sure there's an old version of PC Logic kicking around I could try if I can find it. When you said 'challenge' I didn't realise this was what you meant!

Oh, I know, Mark. It gets frustrating sometimes. And I'm not much good at getting under the hood (bonnet) when things don't work. This is the area of music that I have to be spoon fed or I'll go hungry
I hope you can succeed in using Logic to open the file.

This is great. Joepee has taken me up on my challenge and contributed some new guitar work to my mix. It's not ready to show yet but when we get a new mix I'll post it for everyone. It's more of an upgrade than a remix, but it's a start in the right direction.
Anyone else wanna play?
