Here is this week's, this track was in a lot of Merseybeat groups repertoires in 60s and recorded by some, I have versions by Searchers, Gerry and The Pacemakers and even The Beatles (though never commercially available by them)

This act had 8 hits in UK though all the hits had dried up by 1961, surprisingly only top 40 hits (3) in US, were all in 50s.

The act was, in my view though, an influence for a lot of the Merseybeat groups.

If anyone has problem with file I'll send direct

Not many got this, may have been because they could not access the file as it was in real player format.

However as usual a few did get it.

It was in fact Gene Vincent.
