I recently bought one of these to try to help to tidy up the house cause the Mrs keeps on complaining that shes tripping over guitars! any i bought one of these wall hangers the thing is........ when does the paranoia stop? im having horrible visions of a 620 smash in two???? Brian assures me they are ok but im loitering about my hall staring at it making sure its not moving.

I use wall hangers whenever possible and no one's ever knocked one off the wall. I use String Swings though, not Hercules. Can't say I'm a fan of their lock in mechanism.
