This guy is not sure what he has, he called the finish "Orange sunburst I think they call it NiteGlow" I have never heard of it. It looks Like an amber Fireglo to me. No listing of this color in the Rick color guide http://the-music-connection.com/ricinfo.htm
He said the store he purchased it from told him the late 70's. Don't think so, 4003 started production in 1981. I think its a very early 4003 since they used the Grover Wavy tuners in the 70's but if Rick had them in stock in the early 80's they would use them. I think the finish is beautiful. what do you think about its heritage? I told the seller where to find the SN so when he posts it we can see if I'm correct or not.
