After watching these on ebay go for a ton of money, I checked amazon on a whim and found out it is published again. It just arrived today. It's gotta be the best Byrds book out there. I read a friends copy last January and could not put it down.
THE BYRDS: TIMELESS FLIGHT REVISITED.
35 buck.

Without a doubt one of the very best books on The Byrds. I wasn't as lucky as you, last year the only copy I could get my hands on was from a book dealer in London,England for twice the amount. It was still worth every penny.
I would also suggest the recent release from Christopher Hjort "So You Want to be a Rock and Roll Star The Byrds Day-By-Day 1965-1973". Every bit as good as Johnny Rogan's book.

I just ordered the Christopher Hjort book from Amazon.com...I really dug the Byrds back in the day but I am coming to a new understanding...in 2008 my British Invasion band started going really deep on the Byrds and the crowds really dig what we're doing.
I'm a 3 'B" guy...Beatles, Byrds and Big Star...my top three bands of all time

Wow, thanks for the tip! I've been waiting for this for a long time. I got a copy from England in the early 80's, so I've never even seen the "Revisited" edition. It's now on order from amazon. Christopher Hjort's "So You Want To Be A Rock and Roll Star" arrived just a couple of days ago. It's amazing, and absolute must for Byrds fans.
