SERF schedule of events

Hi gang. Here's a quick run-down of the plans for SERF.
Fri, Feb 27, 2009
Evening: anyone who's in town, we'll meet up and get some dinner, and let everyone get settled in.
Sat, Feb 28, 2009
Morning to Midday: The confluence. Typical show-n-tell deal, as usual, in the hotel conference room.
Recommended time to break for lunch on your own: 12:30-1:30pm. I'll stay to guard the Ricks if needed.
Around 2pm or so: We can start the "jamming," coordinated of course, to avoid ad nauseum 12-bar blues sessions. Everyone start posting their songs, etc. I think an attendee offered to coordinate this, if you can, please email or pm me about that; help in that department would be greatly appreciated.
Around 6pm or so: Break down the majority of instruments, etc., prepare to "lock down" confluence room.
Around 7:30pm: I'm planning a nice dinner. I'm doing my best to get the cost covered, or at least down to a minimum. A distinct possibility is we'll get dinner covered but alcohol is on your dime? I'll post more info as it develops. For planning purposes, this will be an RSVP event.
After dinner: I'm arranging an evening at the Orlando "Howl at the Moon" for us (howlatthemoon.com) Check out the website, they have a neat video that kind of explains what goes on. There's lots more hijinks they don't show on there!!! I know all the Orlando guys so I'll try and take them Ricks to play all night for us during the full band songs. I'll get a van or something, and act as designated driver if needed, because there will be some serious drinking involved!
Sun, Mar 1, 2009
Sunday morning: SERF Clinics. We'll do these in the conference room. We already have Soldering 101, How To Pull Adjust And Pull Truss Rods, and a class on applying Scratch X And Zymol.
Clinics should be done by 1, and everyone can figure out lunch on their own. Of course, I can recommend good places, and I can also direct you to some cool local music stores. Guitar Den and Bass Central are two good ones.
Sunday afternoon we'll break down and everyone can get packed up and ready to depart. Of course, several forumites are already planning to stay Sunday night and continue to hang out into the week. I would, but I'll be super busy at work and must punch the clock bright and early Monday morning.
Did I cover everything? Also, let me know if you'll need transport from the airport, or anything like that.
