Very strange ad that uses a generated robotic voice to sound like Lennon for a Laptop Charity pitch.

It sounded more like one of the Beatle tribute band members doing an impersonation. And I thought it was creepy, inappropriate, etc. What next? President John F. Kennedy or some other long passed person with synthesized recreated voice messages? The whole concept is weird. I hope this doesn't become a trend. And I assume that Yoko approved this?

Weird... I guess I just don't understand the whole concept. John Lennon was a great guy in his time, what does "bringing him back" to pitch something really do? Especially with some synthetic voice, why not just hire a good impressionist. Then again, why bother at all. It's just too weird...

.... but I bet Yoko got some $$$ out of the deal and would therefore the Queen "B" would think it's just great.
