Hendrix's Rickenbacker 360/12 MG

Here a great photo of Jimi hendrix and the Who, Jimi holding his 360/12 MG Very cool Jimi!
I have never seen him play one but it looks like he may have actually owned one, maybe with Pete Townsend's advice ?
Some one should go and ask Pete about it

It is Petes.
Townshend is a Lefty. He mainly played righty strats, but both the Rics he did own were lefty models. This is just a photo op with the Who, as Jimi holds Pete's guitar.

Jimi's 360/12 LH was more than likely a '68 or '69, and was dark...either JG or BG.

It's black tape holding the guitar together. Some of Pete's damage.

He is pictured with his 12 string in the Artist's section on this website. Go to the registration page 'What Goes On', and click on 'Artists'...find Jimi and you'll see it.

I have watched alot of Who Footage and I saw them live and I have never seen Pete play lefty always righty wether its was his rick, strat or SG.

Pat....we were kidding. It was a typo on my behalf.....mistakenly wrote Townshend when I meant Hendrix......
