That was a really nice 4001 at one time!

gasp!....i would probably consider it beyond redemption,but then again,i am not mechanically gifted.......would be nice to see it restored if at all possible....

Yeah. But a load of firewood in my neck of the woods is only 60 bucks.

I noticed this and just decided to move on. Maybe I will watch it just to see if somebody will pay 550.00 for it.

Squire's was reportedly broken in an similar way. Yeah, it could be fixed. It is a tough job though. That is way too much for an opening bid IMHO.

Last year this would have had bids already.

Who knows what will happen with the current financial fiasco.

Looks like it was pulled from a ship wreck.

Should be fun to watch.

Was it routed for a mudbucker? I can't tell but that cavity looks really big.

All I can say is "WOW!!!"
the wood looks really bad also....This would be a job for Dr Ted or Paul....I would not approach this....Look at the end of the neck where the trussrods are just sitting there.....

Maybe it's a picture OF a big fat guy's butt with the bass stuck to him after he sat on it- and that's what broke it up like that.

I kinda like it.

Not much left to it. Looks like some severe water damage to make those glue joints come apart like that. Makes you think if the wood is worthy of a glue-up again.
The only thing it's good for is to put in a display case and let it sit.

It's gnarly. Way too thrashed for me to even think about what it might be like fixed up.
