This is one of the best songs I've ever heard. I just want more people to know about it. Enjoy!

That is a good song; I'm tempted to steal it :evil: Classic sixties' girl-ballad.

She reminds me of Petula Clark. Very pretty, great pop voice.

The composer, Ennio Morricone, wrote the song around the three note pattern of a french police siren. It's so powerful sounding, at first I wanted to think it was about love torn apart during political revolution or some really heavy social thing like that. Turns out it's more of an average love song, lyrically. Still brilliant. A major piece of work.

Mina is the best Italian female singer ...
she reached her peak of success in the 60s and 70s
she also partecipated in the conduction of several TV shows in that period...
sometimes in the 70s she decided not to appear in public anymore. Since then she became a studio artist only
