I'm having a horrendous time refraining from purchasing a 4003-

Based on prior experience, and my lack of self-control, I'm going to buy some time with this poll.

Please be advised of (3) things:

1) I absolutely respect and admire the members of this Forum for their knowledge and appreciation of the Rickenbacker line; basses in general. I'm late to the party, but still a celebrant.

2) I'm very impressed with the scope of knowledge that many here have of this fabulous line-up-the history, the variants, and the specifics. Well-done.
and finally

3) In the end I don't care what anybody says- I'm gonna decide, seeing as it's my $$ going bye-bye!
WHO CARES? Can't take it with you! LOL

First, it was def Jet-Glo; now I must say I'm prone to FireGlo

LET THE BALLOTING BEGIN:

1) Jet-Glo

2) Fire-Glo

3) Midnight Blue

4) MapleGlo- (absolutely beautiful I think especially in a 4003, but should it be a "mate" to my MG

5) A Vintage, no longer available Model, I've seen a White model, a Blue-Boy, and those "Shadows"- wow- Of course it all becomes a matter of price and availability, and I'm sorta prone to new instruments- ('cept for my '69 P-Bass, but... who knows?)

Jetglo !! Your basic black . Always a crowd pleaser

The latest Fireglo is dark, vintage and superb, but at the moment I would go for an 08-09 Jetglo - (go on then Jeff show another picture of your 08 JG (dammit )

I was thinking, I am the only one who thinks so, but I see I am wrong. Darker fireglo or autmnglo is fine, otherwise I would choose jetglo

Jet glo is yer basic cool colour but you the current ones you need to see the headstock wings. Maple glo!

You can't go wrong with a Jetglo 4003. It's RIC's biggest selling instrument. At least it was when they were still shipping them.

The 4003 looks great in Jetglo with white plastic.

Try to get one with the Full Width Inlays. That's even better.

Jetglo is the new Black!

Choosing is one thing-Finding one --Another.

I forgot to add the Midnight Blue to the poll choices; consider it a write-in.

I've found those in stock, also a dealer with a couple Jet-Glos.
Have NOT found a Fire-Glo (new) in stock, so I can buy some more time....
But I'm fading fast.
