Thanks for posting those links. I finally got around to listening to this guy and he's carrying a weight...........he has the blues down cold. The type of music you either love or hate and I loved what I heard.

Yes, a friend of mine from the Micronesia Blues Society sent me the link because I had a little RIC like that once and used to jam with them, so he knew I'd get a kick out of it. Rockin' Johnny sure makes his sound better than mine.Yes. that kick of raw punchy stuff is my kind of music as well. Hope to see him live in Chi-town someday.

He gets a very different but cool vintage vibe out of his Rick. If not for the more modern vocals his stuff would almost sound like it was recorded many years ago and it had been found in some old archives.

It definitely has a vintage feel. I like the tone, that's for sure.

From the limited amount I heard, a little too "roadhousey" for my tastes though. I like it, but in limited doses. I agree with Brian in thatthe guy has got it down. I don't understand the background story though
