Interesting..... I know that everyone will disagree with that list in one way or another.
As for me, I cant argue with "Revolution #9" being last, but putting “Ask Me Why” at #180 is a total abomination.
And "And I Love Her" at 167???? Gimme a break. On the other end of the list, “All You Need Is Love” should be no where
near that highly rated, and “I Don’t Want To Spoil The Party” is a good song but putting it at 22 is just silly, and saying that
“Octopus’s Garden” (#36) is much better than “Let It Be” or “I Should Have Known Better” ????? And why is “Her Majesty”
not right at the bottom? It's can hardly count as an actual song! Jeeeezzzz, the more I look at this list the more perturbed I get! :x

But, as it says, the list is just by "one intrepid fan" and he deserves credit for the effort and for the analysis he did for each
and every song. We would ALL come up with different lists, that's the only thing that is for sure.

To make life easy, here's the list:

Yep, it's all subjective. However, I do agree with #185, but the rest...???

A very subjective ranking --- but it is an interesting concept.

I don't think I would subscribe to "Within You Without You" ranking thirty positions higher than "Guitar Gently Weeps". I guess I prefer Clapton's leslied guitar solo over the unknown Indian studio musician doing the sitar --- but that's me. :?

Another point, not to be nit-picky, but I don't think I saw separate listing for multi-released tunes such as

Let It Be Apple 45 rpm single produced by George Martin
Let It Be Original LP long version reproduced for disc by Phil Spector (with George's 1970 over dubs)
Let It Be "Naked" version
And wasn't there a Let It Be Anthology version too ?

Anyway this probably will be a topic that generates a multitude of views and responses.

Kent, did you really list all those songs yourself? Wow that alone must have taken an hour!

. . . and the reason I went there was to see what was number one!

I'm afraid the last 5 and the first 5 are all I can handle. Scrolling through a 20-page online article covering 185 cuts -- not my idea of a good time!

But a worthy effort and an interesting personal take nonetheless.

"A Day in the Life" is where it should be...always has been, always will be my favorite Beatles song. My #2, however, is "Day Tripper"

She's Leaving Home at #3---I've never seen such high marks for this one. Needless to say, I disagree.

Toatally agree too high on the list for "She's Leaving Home". Also "Good Day Sunshine" at number 181 is way too low for any song off Revolver.

This whole ranking business is a total waste of time, unless you want to start a heated argument.....
