He/she thinks it might be repainted because the fret dots are covered (on binding). Doesn't know how to string the instrument, either.

The seller seems to think the paint job doesn't really impact the "originality" of the bass.... interesting!

Seriously, 5 year old bass strings that have been stored in a garage come with it! That would have to be worth something!

It would go well with one of these.... (which I have one off)

I got one a few years back as was the cheapest Sg I could find the funny thing is once set up it is one of the best playing Gibsons I've had...
