This TRC is from a guitar that was stripped for parts. This particular seller is known for buying guitars and stripping parts and selling them individually. Some members on this forum have had good luck with him, some have had bad luck. Some don't like the fact that he strips perfectly good guitars for parts, but in reality, they are his so he can strip them if he wants to.

As for being a good deal, who knows, TRCs are hard to find, there are fake ones out there that are definitely NOT good deals. This one is probably real.

I would never have thought that a pc of white acrylic by itself not worth more than a few dollars Put Rickenbacker on it and its worth over 100 bucks easy. Capitalism alive and well :)

If you think this one is expensive, try to find an authentic gold TRC. I have seen them sell for $250.00.

This is not a vintage-type silk-screened acrylic TRC, but the much more common injection-molded styrene item.
