In 1962 this track was released in UK and is something of a rarity, in that allegedly part of the lyrics were the first lyrics to be recorded written by Lennon-McCartney or more specfically Lennon.

Peter McCormack's Iron Door site has the details of the book co-written by Ian Forsyth and Johnny Gentle 'Johnny Gentle & the Beatles First Ever Tour' Scotland 1960.

The Beatles tour of Scotland started allegedly on Thursday May 19th 1960. They performed at the Iron Door on Sunday afternoon May 15th 1960.Their first public performance as the Silver Beetles.

Cant say that John's middle 8 was inspiring, but this is definitely a great little piece of Beatles trivia!
