Another rarity?

Here's another rarity and for some reason I love it.

On an early Beatles tour in New Zealand, one of the support acts was Johnny Devlin and The Devils.

Devlin was popular in NZ and allegedly he played a new song he had written to Paul, who according to Devlin grabbed a guitar and re-worked it.

The single was eventually released in 1965 but no credit on it to McCartney and he has never confirmed or denied Devlin's story.

Never heard it till recently but hey I like it.

Thanks for finding this Roy. Yet another obscure trail in the history of The Beatles has been uncovered. You seem to have a nose for finding these great stories. :D The song was pretty good. I think he could have delivered it with just a tad more feeling though..........it would have made a major difference for me in terms of loving it or just liking it.
