....from the 13th Floor Elevators played a Capri in the early days of the band, as well as when he was in the Lingsmen, but I can't seem to find a pic online.

There are a couple of photos of Stacy and his Capri in Paul Drummond's book "Eye Mind".
These are pre-Elevators.
There is a fold out that came with the "Unreleased Masters" CD set in the early 90s. In this fold out there is a dark photo
that clearly shows a Capri 360(5?). The face of the player is too dark to see if it is Stacy, but seeing the early photos
I choose to think it is indeed him.
The interesting thing about the Capri in the photo is that it looks Black(JG) and has white guards with small knobs.
Tom Wheeler's book "American Guitars" shows a Capri like this.(I think it was even credited to a Texas dealer).
Was this guitar one and the same? Where might it be?.....

I know the pic that came as the CD foldout. Its Stacey. Hmmmm...where is it now? I'd love to own it.

Interesting thing about that photo; it is not in either "Eye Mind" or "Sign of the Three Eye'd Men".
