Sorry if this has been covered before, but I did a quick search and could find anything.

When cleaning a couple of my Rics recently I noticed 2 letters behind the truss rod covers. Are these of any significance?

Cheers.

Rob.

Numbers, letter, names and other hieroglyphics and runes in Rickenbacker body cavities are just markings used internally at RIC.

The CNC machine thing is just a myth. Everyone now knows that every Rickenbacker guitar is really made by Oompa Lumpas! :D

You're on! I'll definitely need someone with me who can translate Californian into English.

When I get given the company at the end of the day, I'll put all my ideas straight into practice......

All outstanding orders for people who have paid for their guitars will be fulfilled before any guitars are sent to dealers just for stock.
Acoustic guitars will return to full production.
An acoustic bass, which will be known as the P (perfection) series, will be developed and produced to order.
On each run of each model, pick ups will be split 50/50 toasters to high gains.
We will see the return of a 360F! :D
The 650 series will be gone for good, with WB models taking their place.
Jetglo will be phased out for a few years, being replaced by Candy Apple red.
The Roger Mcguinn compression upgrade will be an option available on all 12 string models.

Get your orders in soon, we'll be shut by Christmas!
