The Gender Wayang Group

Played gamelan last night at Bromwell Elementary School in Denver...it went really well: kids, parents and teachers enjoyed it. We were the last act of the evening...lots of different cultures represented, the emphasis being on 'diversity'...
Here's a link to a short video of our smaller gender wayang group, Catur Eka Santi, performing last Saturday at the 'first birthday' party for little Ayu...you can see her with her dad, I Made Sumiasa, sitting at my right hand. The piece we're playing, which is not shown in it's entirety, is called Tulang Lindung, or "the bones of an eel":
