An apple dropped out of a tree bonking me noggin and gave me an idea , about combining a 2009 SoCal Confluence with Voxfest;what could be bettee than Ric cuitars and Vox amps, and the folks who appreciate them.
Or am I pipe dreaming?

There is a discussion going on at the RIC forum about just that. John Hall seemed interested in the concept.

Joey, Paul, et. al.
It looks like the SCARF excitement and momentum is already building
With all these Confluences, the Rickenbacker enthusiasts community bring a new meaning to "stimulus" that will lift the country's spirit up

Thanks for the thoughts, folks. I didn't really intend to put a damper or anything on the discussion.
Anyway, If I get some time, I may look some of you up. Then again, the next week will be spent in Northern Cal., Santa Rosa Area. Unfortunately, that'll be a similarly un-fun and non-free time, with my wife's Dad, who's in a very similar situation...
It's kinda starting out as a kinda sad year...
At least I got my new 4003 today to cheer me up a little...

Look me up in San Rafael if you need a little comic relief on the way, CJ. It would be great to meet you.

We'll have to do something really cool this year.
