Sarah Harding, but only because I heard that she spends most her evenings buffing up a 381 AFG.
And by the way - you knew one of their names and that makes you just as tainted.

Jeez, this is a great video Scottie! Why won't you allow an embed? I like the early 60s look in the video, and the song's hooky! The worst thing in the video is...well, nothing. The backing band should have matched the look with some thin lapel suits and skinny ties though. I've added the vieo to my You Tube Favorites list.

Paul the You tube video has the embedding disabled by request Mark posted this as the video but we were not able to view.Incidently Girls Aloud's single 'The Promise' was named the year's Best British Single at the BRIT Awards last night also Paul Weller has picked up the award for Best British Male.I need a reason to post a weller track? nope i didnt think so.
Make up your mind

Meh, I fail to see the attraction with those girls. They look pretty typically over-groomed and underfed. I mean the song is OK, but take away the bling and those gowns and what have you got?

OK, I see your point But it would be nice if they had a really superb soloist, for example. I kept waiting for something Supremes-like to happen but I think it got lost in the glitz.

They might not have the pipes for that, but if they did, it might end up being over the top, a la Mariah Carey or someone like that. Given those two winners, it's evident that soul-type pop is popular in the UK, eh?

I will say that chorus is very hooky indeed. But I think the choices say more about the public's taste at the moment, you're right, Paul. Maybe with the economy what it is, the folks are yearning for some glitzy nostalgia to dream to.
